Adding Standard Tax Codes

1. Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
2. Click Settings (Gear Icon).
3. Click Company Settings | Taxation.
4. Click the 'Add' button shown above the grid.
5. Enter the Code and Description.
6. Optional: Select an Effective Date.
7. Important: Make sure 'Is Group' is unchecked.
8. Enter the Rate (7% = 7).
9. Click the 'Save' or 'Save and Close' button shown below the grid.

Important: AccountingLink for QuickBooks, Xero etc. provide an option where tax codes and rates can be imported. This would be an alternative to the steps listed above.
