RFI reason options
One of the required fields when entering a Request For Information (RFI) is the reason. The default options are provided below, but others can be added or deleted if they are not referenced in an RFI.
Similar to RFI types, you can use the reason to group and filter the RFI list, as well as when printing log reports.
Default RFI reason options
- Information not shown on the Contract Documents
- Interpretation of Contract Requirements
- Conflict in Contract Requirements
- Coordination Problem
- General Question
View and add RFI reason options
- Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
- Go to Settings > Feature Settings > Correspondence.
The available RFI reasons are listed under the RFI Reason section.
- To add a new RFI reason, click Add, enter the RFI reason in the available field, and select Save.
You cannot delete an RFI reason if it's referenced on a project record.
