Enable the Contract Administration and Procurement transaction workflow
- Log in to Sage Construction Management as an Admin.
- Go to Settings > Workflow > Contract Admin & Procurement.
- Select Yes next to the Do you wish to use Workflow for Contract and Procurement Modules?
- Select Save.
- Select one of the following options to specify the Type of Workflow:
- Feature based workflow: One or more users must be referenced as approvers in the workflow rule. If an alias option is selected, then the user referenced in the respective field of the Project Details form will be responsible for reviewing the transaction. Workflow rules apply to all projects.
- Feature based workflow with Project Manager Alias or Admin Approvers: System administrators and the project manager referenced in the Project Details form can review and approve the transaction. Workflow rules apply to all projects.
- Project/Feature based workflow: Similar to the Feature based workflow, except the workflow rules apply to specific projects.
- Optionally, to receive notifications for the actions performed, select the respective option.
- Select one of the following options from the AbandonWorkflow dropdown to specify the users that can abandon the workflow:
- Allow Admins or Next Approver to Abandon Workflow
This option is selected by default.
- Allow Only Approvers to Abandon Workflow
- Allow All Users Who Have Feature Access to Abandon Workflow
- Allow Admins or Next Approver to Abandon Workflow
- Select Save.
