Estimate locations overview
Estimates can contain hundreds of items, so they’re organized or grouped using cost codes and optionally locations. Like cost codes, locations can also come into play when printing the Estimate Proposal.
Important things to know
- Locations are estimate specific. Thus, locations can be different from project to project. For example, custom home, school, or parking structure.
- The Order # is a numeric field and determines how the locations will be listed. The order of locations can be reset globally for the estimate by selecting all the locations and then selecting the Choose Bulk Action option.
- Locations can be grouped using internal division and major.
